Size Notes:

Unframed: 57.5 by 101cm., 22½ by 39¾in. The canvas has been lined and is providing a strong and stable support to the paint surface. There is a pattern of craquelure visible. Examination under ultra-violet light reveals a varnish layer that obscures further reading however there does appear to be some minor flecks of retouching to the faces of the figures seated and underneath 'Paris', which has possibly been strengthened. Otherwise the work is ready to hang.
